Using polarising filter on Olympus E-500+ 14-45mm lens

This is a photograph of a BT post close to the house. Such a common thing we find everywhere but we rarely notice it.
I thought with the beautiful blue my Olympus camera take doubling it with a polarising filter it would give me a great image. And I think for a very common thing such as the post, it is good enough.
Having a walk with family often get me labelled as a slow walker as I tend to snap photos on the way, photos of just about anything… making my bouncy children restless and impatient. So for the day, I just kept to the Auto mode and the Landscape/Portrait modes. No use adjusting camera setting when you get pulled and poked

This is a regular sight on the street on the way to the grocers. The colours are not my favourites but it does have good appeal on it.
Conclusion? the polarising filter is indeed a great addition to my Oly, I have little or even no tweaking to do on the photos.
Photos are taken RAW using my Olympus E-500 and akit lens 14-45mm with cheapsy polarising filter (35£?)

I use an E-500, and I am happily shooting anything and everything. I’m new to photography, but all that truly matters is that you like your own photos. By the way, I take photos on the fly, too, and I love the yellows in the street in contrast with the roofs peeking above.
