Lens introduction: ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 35-100mm 1:2.0
I’ve only played with this lens quickly for half a day earlier this year and I went home with some nice pictures but also a bit more curious and wanting. Now I have it, I will be able to see its strengths (or exercise those sleeping muscles of mine), its speed and how good and sharp the pictures look. First impressions.. the lens weigh 1.5kilo + the E-3 + grip made it much more :-/
Below are some sample photos taken in the livingroom. The first image he was telling me about his day, then the second he was bowing and laughing and the last photo are the kids posing about 3 meters from me. I was blown away with the sharpness and the fast reaction of the lens on C-AF. I can’t wait to play with it more, I am really looking forward to trying it out in France and here’s hoping no one will get intimidated by it’s size.
This is a high quality Zuiko Digital lens with an equivalent range of 70-200mm on a 35mm film camera. One of Olympus’ Top Pro lenses with fixed aperture of f/2.0 over the whole zoom range. It is also dust/splashproof lens.
