Olympus Pen, E-P2 up close and personal
I’ve finally played (quickly) with the new Pen camera from Olympus. The E-P2 delivered on it’s promised design – beautiful and discreet. Plus several new updates that will encourage more photography and creativity.

What’s new in the E-P2?
- Electronic view finder which is really good and the tilt make it great for “from hip” shots.
- Sleek and discreet look with it beautiful gun metal black colour.
- Two new “Art Filters” – Diorama and Cross Process
- New LCD
- Microphone adaptor
- i-enhance, colours are enhanced to be stronger
- AF Tracking, improved
There will also be a black leather case and straps as well as two more lenses 14-150mm f4.0-5.6 and 9-18mm f4.0-5.6 wide angle.

The new Pen camera will be available in January 2010. Hopefully by then, I will have a review about it with lots of photos.
Keep an eye on the tele for the new Olympus ads, out from the 16/11/2009.

I am thinking about picking one up, the E-P2, any lens suggestions?
Nonac, the 17mm is good for walk abouts but if you can afford the panasonic lens, get that one instead.
Nice. Here’s a shot through my Panasonic G1′s EVF.
