About me

Snowdon Photography is a result of a longtime passion for photography. Behind the camera is a fun loving mum of two, Ghene Snowdon. Like many mums, she wanted her children’s photographs to show their personality while having fun.

She specialises in natural light photography and mix of styles to suit your needs. With a casual and relaxed approach to every session.

Ghene is based in London and uses London’s numerous parks, estates, museums and streets as her studio. Some photographs need to be taken in your home, workplace, and studio – these generally are newborn sessions, environmental portraits and boudoir sessions. She is fluent in French and in English and is willing to travel.

My gear consists of several Olympus DSLR cameras. I like the way the cameras feel and most of all, I like how the photographs I take come out.

To answer a few questions:

No I am not paid to “plug” for companies or products, I only publicly recommend/endorse them when I tried and use them. If the experience is continually good, I post it online and talk all my photographer friends to it. If not, I only share the experience with all my photographer friends in London whom I meet regularly.

As you notice, I am loyal to some brands specially when I am happy with it and I do let my friends try my stuff or let them see how I use it. What better way to convert a non-believer?

    Hi Ghene,

Just wanted to say I found your site while looking for a tutorial regarding making my own lightbox! I’d also like to say that I love your photography – some fantastic images here and very inspirational.

I’m a keen amateur photographer myself with aspirations of going pro within the next year or two, but I still have a lot to learn.

Look forward to seeing some more of your fantastic shots soon,

    Regards,

    Dan
